A: We have one assembly where everyone assembles together (1 Corinthians 14.23). We have a variety of methods to teach people publicly and privately (Acts 20.20). We do believe in Bible study and emphasize that as much as we can!
Q: Is there a dress code?
A: The Bible teaches that when we come together to worship, we are in the presence of God; therefore, we should conduct ourselves in reverence. One way we display our reverence to God is by the clothes we choose to present ourselves in for worship. When planning your visit, we ask that you choose an outfit that will communicate outwardly your inward reverence and respect for God!
Q: Do you have a pastor?
A: In the Bible, the titles "elder," "bishop" (overseer) and "pastor" (shepherd) are different descriptions of the same leadership role in a congregation. The Bible gives specific criteria for who is qualified to serve in this office (1 Timothy 3.1-7; Titus 1.5-9; 1 Peter 5.1-4).
Although this congregation does not currently have pastors/elders, we feel very strongly about fulfilling God's plan for scriptural church leadership and are actively working with an evangelist towards accomplishing this goal (Titus 1.5).
